Christy Fanous, Board Chair

Christy Fanous is an executive with more than 25 years of experience in the utility industry. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine University and an MBA from the University of Southern California. Harvest Home combines her passion for helping women and children with her desire to play a role in combating homelessness in Los Angeles. Christy is a native of Southern California and currently lives in Santa Monica.

Tom McGuinness, Treasurer

As a father of two young girls in West LA, Tom has a deep appreciation for the impact Harvest Home has on serving new mothers and children in this city. He brings experience in finance, entrepreneurship, and investment management to the Board, and is honored to play a role in furthering the reach and effectiveness of Harvest Home’s mission. An LA native, Tom studied at UC Berkeley (BA) and the University of Chicago (MBA), and lives in Santa Monica with his wife, Ashley, and two kids. They enjoy making various foods together and planning adventures in the great outdoors. 

Anna Park McGowen, Secretary

Anna is an attorney with over twelve years of prior legal experience, including at two large international law firms where she represented clients in various business, finance and healthcare transactions. She has also represented pro bono clients in guardianship and adoption proceedings. She holds a B.A. from UCLA, a M.A. from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law. Anna was drawn to Harvest Home by seeing what an integral role it plays in the lives of some of the most vulnerable women and children by providing them with a safe place to live and a crucial support network. Anna is a native of Southern California and lives with her family in Los Angeles.

Merle Dandridge

Merle Dandridge was born in Japan, raised in Nebraska, schooled in Chicago, and forged on the New York City Broadway stage. She loves variety in her work as an artist. Being of Black and Korean descent, she has a passion for championing inclusivity.  Merle is passionate about Harvest Home and its “boots on the ground” approach to protecting and empowering vulnerable women. She is proud to have served at Harvest Home as a supporter, gala host, and one-on-one mentor to the inspiring residents. 

Jessica Haynie

Jessica Haynie is a longtime volunteer at Harvest Home. She has mentored mothers and served in resident life since 2018. Her faith is central to her life and service, and she believes the resilience and courage of the mothers at Harvest Home reflect the very best of humanity—and what is possible with God as our partner. 

Professionally, Jessica has worked in business development and strategic partnerships for nearly 20 years, with experience in wireless communications, media, and technology. She currently serves as Director of Business Development at Boldyn Networks, where she sources and negotiates long-term contracts for wireless installations and services with large venues across the country. 

She is a member of Vintage Church South Bay and a single mother to her adopted daughter Scarlet (6). Scarlet has joined her at the homes since she was a baby and has grown up alongside many of the alumni children. Jessica and Scarlet reside in Playa del Rey where they enjoy playing tennis, hiking, and catching as many beach sunsets as they can.

Destiny Prescott

As a Harvest Home Alumni herself, Destiny has firsthand experience with the positive impact the program provides to women taking on the role of motherhood while overcoming the challenge of homelessness. She is excited to utilize her background in affordable housing to continue to serve and bring awareness to the Harvest Home mission. Destiny is passionate about using her voice to amplify the stories of others and share her own past experiences to encourage women who are currently working towards their goals, that breaking the cycle is possible. Destiny lives in Long Beach, CA with her daughter Toni.

Jennifer Kettnich

Jenn Kettnich is passionate about Harvest Home's holistic approach to transform the lives of women and children across the west side of Los Angeles, and is honored to be serving on the board. She is currently the Head of Investor Relations at Mattel and has over 15 years of experience across finance, strategy and investment management. Jenn grew up in North Carolina and attended the University of North Carolina for undergrad and the Wharton School for her MBA. She currently lives on the west side of LA with her husband and toddler son.

Emily Bost-Baxter

Emily is a psychiatrist with nearly 20 years of experience in community mental health including the Alcott Center for Mental Health Services and a private practice in Santa Monica.  Emily has a particular interest in working with women with mood and anxiety disorders during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Her expertise and experience in treating mental illness in women during pregnancy has made her aware of how important a supportive, nurturing environment is in pregnancy. As a native of Santa Monica, she also is excited to continue to invest in Los Angeles- a vibrant city which she loves.

Sara Wood

Sara Wood brings a deep commitment to faith-based service and community leadership to the Harvest Home board. A longtime member of Vintage Church LA and a leader within Bible Study Fellowship, she has spent years serving through mentorship and ministry. Most recently, she co-founded an online antique retail business with her daughter. As a wife of 33 years and mother of two, Sara is passionate about supporting unhoused pregnant mothers and advancing Harvest Home’s mission.

As a father of four and a pediatric neurosurgeon at UCLA, Anthony finds joy in helping kids get a running start in life. He and his wife, Page, were immediately drawn to Harvest Home by the personal, practical, longitudinal way it supports women and children in need. Anthony and his family live in Westchester, and love spending weekend afternoons cooking together.
